In these visits, they provided the residents with information about the sorts of crime that happen in Kendhikulhudhoo, things that people can do as a community to prevent crime, how the Police dealt with crime, how to inform crime and also ways to report criminal activities. The Police also gave out N. Atoll Police contact details, and also checked vehicles on Kendhikulhudhoo roads for appropriate license and registration.
The main purpose of this Crime Prevention Programme is to preserve the safety of the people of N. Atoll and enhance its livability. The Police of N. Manadhoo Police Station received tremendous support from the community of Kendhikulhudhoo.
